It will never be sold to consumers. It's a shame. N950 (aka Dali) is the phone that got cancelled.

I too was a Nokia man and was sooooo excited to be getting the N8 (on pre-order from Nokia UK). I spent months researching it and watching youtube videos of it the pre-released phone. Then when I got it it crashed on me everyday to the point I had to hard reset, it ran slow when more than one app was open to the point I was litterally waiting for the text to appear on my phone when texting -I was three words ahead of it! (and I only had the internet on and the text app). Sometimes the multitask window would just show icons instead of the screen shot.
There were many other faults on the phone and it felt unfinished. I am so annoyed and have sent it back and will get a non Nokia phone now. I feel really let down and like I've been living in a bubble supporting Nokia and not even really checking the competition. I hate Nokia now as I wasted so much time with them and was letting better technology pass me by. HTC is the way forward I think.

Good for you, LG. Everyone has been running so fast, trying to get a tablet competitor out there for the ipad. At least LG acknowledges that Android is great for smartphones.

You can make 15 reasons not to buy an Android as well, or any other Smartphones out there. When will those articles come out??? Or how about 15 reasons to buy one? This list above are non-issues for me. I tried the "Death Grip" on my phone with no success with or without a case. The camera on my phone works like a charm, clarity is 2nd to none IMO. Facetime is great, but when I don't have Wifi, and on 3G, I have an App that takes Facetime's place. Software is not faulty at all. Droid software on the other hand are getting virus' now. They should be getting an App for antirus protection i'm assuming here soon.

I agree with the previous comment ~ pointless.

Hello,
Its bad to here that you got a lock on your Blackberry. Now you need a MEP (Mobile Equipment Personalization) unlockcode to unlock your mobile from the Network provider.
As you are looking for free codes I like to remind you that you have only a few attempts total in your mobile phone, after that your phone will HARDLOCK itself.

I recommend you do not use free MEP unlockcodes from internet as they are fakes. I suggest you to go to UNLOCKGENIE (http://unlockgenie.com/) this website is quick in Blackberry MEP code generation.

Hardlocks are very hard to remove. You will be forced to take your mobile phone to a service center to remove that.

Kind of out of date now the iphone 4 has been jailbroken. So you can make facetime calls over 3G for example. I also dont see why a micro sim is a reason not to buy the phone, got mine over the counter for free and they set it up for free.

Bit of a pointless article IMO.

The difference i have found with these phones as i have now both is with the old n96 i can print my photo's direct to my wifi printer but with the n97 it doesnt give you the option it only lets you do it via usb or bluetooth which for me is a major thumbs down i expected this to have the same features at least and some better than the n96 :(

Id expect to pay around the 35/40 pound mark per month on a contract. The longer the contract you take the cheaper your monthly bills will be.
